Ierusalem quae aedificatur ut civitas,
cuius participatio eius in idipsum:
illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini,
ad confitendum nomini tuo, Domine.
Jerusalem is built like a city
in which everyone can share;
and to it the tribes go up, o Lord, the tribes of the Lord,
to praise your name.
